What is a bucket list?
In short, it’s a list of all the things you would love to do, see, experience, create, acquire, grow, learn, or understand before you die (aka: “kick the bucket”).
I, personally, love keeping a bucket list. Here are 5 reasons WHY to keep a bucket list, too:
1) A bucket list helps you capture all your dreams in one place. When your dreams are written on paper, it turns them into declarations and clear intentions of something you would like to achieve, do, or experience in your lifetime. Declarations and intentions are much more grounded and actionable than airy dreams, and they pull you more quickly along a path to self-actualization.
2) A bucket list can provide added fuel and inspiration to grow your Money Tree stronger, or faster. When you look at the resources it will take to accomplish a particular item on your list, your Creative Brain can now go to work figuring out how to build the resources (finances, free time, etc.) into your Money Tree.
3) A bucket list honors the dreamer and the potent potential within you. This is YOUR life and you have this one chance to see, experience, do and be what fulfills you and helps you experience your full capacity.
4) A bucket list stretches you. Sometimes, it feels scary to add an item to your bucket list as it may stretch you beyond what you currently feel or believe is in your capacity. Take comfort in knowing that the stretching, the journey you must take to accomplish the list item, is a reward itself. Sometimes, the reward of the journey ends up exceeding the bucket list item.
5) A bucket list with
strikethroughs is tangible evidence of a life well-lived and something you can celebrate and reminisce with at will. Your bucket list may be something that inspires your offspring, other family members, and friends to create their own bucket lists – passing these lists down from generation to generation within families….continuing the inspired vibration.
